Product 01 · The Screen

Above Entrance Screens Show Parking Availability

Brightly coloured, waterproof screens can be mounted above the entrances to any of our parking garages to inform drivers of the number of parking spaces available.

The Problem

Garages that do not inform drivers of available spaces create congestion with drivers searching for spaces when garages are completely full. These searches add more exhaust fumes, which causes huge extraction fans to start more often, thus consuming more power. But, the heaviest price paid is customer frustration and anger.

Gateless Parking System

Park-Kit's wireless cameras at every entrance and exit log the minute the drivers arrive and leave so we know exactly who hasn't paid. Owners gain another 10-15 minutes per parking session.

Product 03 · Find a Spot

Parking Guidance System

Wirelessly linked overhead camera modules and lights survey every space in real-time with displays at entrances and intersections showing exactly how many spots are open, and where. Glare-free lights can be adjusted for intensity, brightness and color temperature. The lights can also be linked together to act in unison.

The Problem

Drivers circle lots hunting for an open space, burning time and fuel while adding unnecessary traffic to already congested lots and creating noxious carbon monoxide gas which must be extracted with massive fans wasting even more energy.

Our Solution

Indicating lights at both ends of our modules signal the availability of open regular, handicapped or electric vehicle spaces. Green for regular, blue for electric vehicle, purple for handicapped and red for occupied, in all cases. Entry and zone displays on parking aisles show live availability, parking spaces. When you park, we'll send you an SMS map to your parking space along with a list of local attractions. You will never lose your vehicle again.

Product 04 · Revenue Protection

The Gatekeeper

Our reinforced steel gate stays open almost all the time. It only lowers for a vehicle that is leaving without paying with our kiosk showing unpaid drivers photographic evidence of their violation — and even then, no one is held hostage.

Billions of dollars are lost annually by North American lots due to unpaid or underpaid sessions. Parking violators cost owners a huge amount of potential revenue.

Our Solution

Our gate drops for violators, showing them photographs of their entry and exit on the kiosk. Kiosk cameras record the session to incentivize pay. If they don't pay at a discount, they can request a printed invoice at the full amount. This eliminates the need for patrol vehicles and camera cars.

One Glide account is sufficient for every Park-Kit lot: view location and availability on our GPS map, manage a whole fleet of vehicles on a single payment plan, and browse full parking history for any family member or employee.

In the past, individuals, families and businesses juggled separate passes, receipts, and payment methods per vehicle and per lot, creating confusing expense reports and no unified view of money spent.

The Kiosk

A kiosk wired or solar-powered brings the same simple, transparent payment model to traditional on-street and curbside parking.

The Problem

On-street parking still often relies on parking meters and manual or vehicle-mounted license plate scanners — slow, inconsistent, and unnecessary. Many communities have switched to using a cellphone app but some people still prefer a physical payment kiosk.

Our Solution

Most people use Glide, the Park-Kit App, which has a QR code visible on light posts and nearby signs. Providing an alternate kiosk for payment is another option that drivers have to pay for parking.

Product 07 · The RFID sticker for the 22 states and 6 provinces with no front plates

RFID Sticker, For Use with Our Full Parking Guidance System and for Surface Lots

For locations with no front license plates, an alternative that our cameras can read is needed

The Problem

When a vehicle with no front license plates backs into a parking space, our cameras cannot identify the vehicle and our system cannot send the driver notifications or maps. Also, when we are monitoring surface parking lots, another solution is needed to identify the vehicle and its driver.

RFID advantages

RFID stickers can be read through rain or snow, to open a gate as a vehicle approaches. We needed to resolve the problem of issuing custom RFID stickers to drivers who need them to enter and leave our lots.

Our Solution

We invented a new type of RFID sticker for our parking lots. The new stickers are 2 inches wide and 6 inches long, allowing a camera-legible alpha-numeric code on the windshield. Kiosks at entrances and exits will print stickers for drivers, families and their employees.

Product 08 · The Charger

240 VOLT TYPE 2 EV CHARGERS

An inexpensive alternative to renting Chargers. Higher rent charging space pays for electricity

The Problem

Garage owners often rent EV chargers from a third company with that company profiting from the charging space instead of buying their own generic chargers and charging more for the EV parking.

The Data

EV Charger ownership

Buying and owning a Type 2 EV Charger is far cheaper than contracting a 3rd party to supply and maintain them. Although this solves an immediate problem garage owners have the choice of buying a generic charger like this one to retain potential profit.

Our Solution

We can supply, install and maintain a tried-and-tested Type 2 EV Charger like this one for far less than renting from a third party. With our monitoring equipment we would record and time each charging session and h for the parking space to adequately pay for the costo of the electricity plus a profit for the owner.

Product 09 · Parking GPS

Park-Kit's GPS continues inside our garages

The missing link: a GPS map of a parking structure that also eliminates directional signs.

The Problem

GPS signals end at a parking structure as dashboard, cellphone, screens go blank and you drive into the unknown. Park-Kit's guidance and lighting system helps drivers find empty spaces but the parking industry lacks a continuation of the GPS within parking structures that appears as a map on dashboards and cell phones.

Our research

indicates that providing a GPS-like map on the dashboards and cell phones of drivers with Glide that shows the progress of vehicles on screen, and are directed to electric, handicap or valet parking spaces, would save 10% of driving time.

Our Solution

Drivers with the Park-Kit app would see an active map of our garage and be directed to special locations, such as handicap, electric or valet parking. With AI there would also be a two-way conversation between the driver and our map as well as text messages that appear when they park.
